- Over 14,000 new jobs to be created across pharma, renewable energy, healthcare, and electronics sectors
Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Investor Connect Event, organized by the state’s Department of Commerce and Industries in Ahmedabad, witnessed strong investor participation, attracting proposals worth over ₹33,000 crore.
These investments are expected to generate more than 14,000 new jobs across key sectors including pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, electronics, and healthcare.
Investment interest came from leading national and regional companies in sectors such as green hydrogen, solar energy, semiconductors, and engineering—highlighting Chhattisgarh’s growing appeal as one of India’s most business-friendly states.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said,“Chhattisgarh offers investors the perfect blend of stability, connectivity, and infrastructure. With digitized, transparent processes and a thriving industrial ecosystem, we’ve built a state where businesses don’t just start, they succeed.”
The event also featured one-on-one meetings between investors and senior state officials to explore projects in textiles, pharmaceuticals, and electronics—sectors identified as drivers of Chhattisgarh’s next phase of industrial growth.
Discussions were held with senior leadership from major companies including Vadilal, Torrent Group, JadeBlue, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Welspun, and Astral Pipes, all of whom expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in the state.
The Ahmedabad meet follows successful editions of the Investor Connect series held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bastar, and Raipur, which together have attracted investment intents exceeding ₹7.5 lakh crore in the past 10 months.
With proactive governance, sector-focused policies, and seamless investor facilitation, Chhattisgarh continues to strengthen its position as a hub for sustainable and inclusive industrial development.
